Orson- “12:09”

Orson

Creep. Creep. Creep. Stick to the shadows. Gradually inch forward. Carefully peer around that corner. Try to keep as quiet as the steam rising up from the manhole. This is stealth mode. You’re flying slow and low under the radar. The way this track is moving? That’s the way you need to be.

Every movement, even the slightest titter, of Orson’s “12:09” seems intensely considered. There isn’t a false step or hair out of place in the seven minutes that the Berlin producer’s track slithers about. He’s seemingly engineered dubstep for the soundtrack to a Splinter Cell or Metal Gear game. It’s made for tailing a suspicious character through the city streets at 2 am or 12:09 I suppose. “12:09” is the sort of tune where you feel each percussive strike and bass hit because anything disrupting this quietude is monumental. You take note. And pay attention to every detail.

You can pre-order Orson’s forthcoming 12″ “Life Gamble/12:09” here now.
