Grizzly Bear Reveals New Album ‘Painted Ruins’ and Announces Tour Dates

Grizzly Bear has been teasing a new album for what probably seems like forever for fans of the band. Well now, finally, we have details of the follow-up to 2012’s Shields. 

The chamber rock group’s fifth LP is entitled Painted Ruins and will drop August 18 through RCA. There still isn’t a tracklist but the record will feature “Three Rings” and we do have a view of the album artwork (by Chyrum Lambert) that comes from an event posting.

Yes, that’s right, the band also has a whole slate of tour dates for 2017 and it’s pretty damn extensive. Grizzly Bear’s kickstarting its tour in early October and will go through mid-December while playing 28 dates. You’ll find that info below, along with the aforementioned “Three Rings.” There’s a new track debuting on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio Show, so check back later today for that song.
